Grup Ünlü
Grup Ünlü , sometimes just Ünlü , is a German-Turkish rock band .
history
The musicians began in 1981 as a punk band under the name "Elevator", later they called themselves "The Lift" and had already published under this name. The song Estarabim, originally by Erkin Koray , from her first album Son Defa (1996), released under the name Ünlü, was released as a single. In 2007 this recording was selected by İpek İpekçioğlu for a compilation on the subject of "Turkish Sounds from Germany" (Koray had already released the title in Germany in the 1970s). The title Kafam was released as a single from her second album O ve Z Hikayesi (1998) . Karakan (Kerim & Alper) worked as a feature on the title ONNI (Hadi Gel) .
