The Grupo J. Carrión ( spelling : JCARRION) is a Spanish logistics company based in Huércal de Almería in the autonomous community of Andalusia . The company was founded in 1980 by Juan Carrión Simarro and specialized in the road transport of perishable goods such as fruit and vegetables. In 2019, J. Carrión had 14 locations in Europe, nine of them in Spain, four in Romania and one in Germany. The German branch in Dortmund was opened in 2013. At the beginning of 2019, the company had 1,450 tractor units and 1,700 refrigerated semi-trailers in its fleet.
