The nature reserve (NSG) Kerbtal am Brunskamp is located in the district of Lippborg in the municipality of Lippetal in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Location and description

The officially 6.50 hectare nature reserve is located in the west of Lippetal directly on the border of the Soest and Warendorf districts in the foothills of the Beckum Mountains . The NSG is close to Autobahn 2 , halfway between the Hamm-Uentrop and Beckum junctions . The larger NSG "Brunsberg und Kerbtal am Brunsberg" is directly adjacent to the north of the district boundary. The even larger NSG Uentruper Wald begins 200 m further west . The protected area includes a section of the Kerbtal with forest and headwaters . There are also special geological structures there . The NSG The key number is SO-032R2.

The NSG has existed since 1993.
