The Stockumer Holz nature reserve is located in the municipality of Lippetal in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northwest of the core town of Lippetal. The state road L 822 and the A 2 run to the west, the Lippe flows to the south .

Since 2006, an area of 368.79 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve for Lippetal under the code number SO-067.
