List of rose varieties |
' Greetings to Coburg' , synonym 'I. Greetings to Coburg ', is a rose variety. It was created in 1927 at Felberg-Leclerc as a cross between the parent varieties ' Alice Kaempff ' and ' Souvenir de Claudius Pernet '. It used to be one of the Pernetiana roses, which are now considered to be hybrid tea.
description
The plant is strong, upright and medium-high in growth. Their leaves are bronze green.
The flower buds are bright copper-colored to orange-red. The variety makes large flowers with an intense scent. The inside of the petals is yellow, beige and brown with a golden yellow base; the outside is brownish red to salmon red with a hint of copper, golden yellow, reddish and purple. This color scheme is similar to that of ' Louise Catherine Breslau ', which was also counted among the Pernetiana roses.
The flowering period extends from June to November.
