Guðrún frá Lundi

Guðrún frá Lundi , actually Guðrún Baldvina Árnadóttir (born June 3, 1887 on the farm Lundi í Stíflu, Fljótum, Skagafjörður , Iceland ; † August 22, 1975 in Iceland) was an Icelandic writer.

Life

Guðrún only published the first volume of her five-volume, 2189-page main work in 1946, at the age of almost 60: Dalalíf (Life in the Valleys). Another 15 works followed, some of which consist of several volumes. All her works were published under her court name ( pseudonym ) " Guðrún from Lundi".

So far none of her works has been translated into German (as of October 2014).
