Guanghua Si

The Guanghua Si ( Guanghua Temple ; Chinese  广 化寺 , Pinyin Guǎnghuà Sì ) is part of a Buddhist monastery in the city of Putian in the Chinese province of Fujian . It is located at the foot of Mount Fenghuang (also Nanshan) two kilometers southwest of the city center and is also one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in Fujian. The temple was first built in 558 and rebuilt in 1875 . It covers an area of ​​16,000 square meters and has a stone wall one kilometer long.
