The Guangzhou International Finance Center (German Internationales Finanzzentrum Guangzhou ) is a skyscraper in the Chinese city ​​of Guangzhou in the Guangdong province . It is located on Zhujiang Avenue West in Tianhe District , the financial district of the city.

The building was under construction from 2006 to 2010 and reached its final height of 438.6 meters on December 31, 2008.

Inside the 103-story tower, office space extends up to the 68th floor. Floors 69–72 serve as a hotel lobby and offer space for fitness centers and restaurants. Above these levels, a Four Seasons Hotel fills the skyscraper up to the 98th floor. The sky lobby is located on the last two public floors, the 99th and 100th floor, with a visitor viewing platform at a height of 418.5 meters. There is a helipad on the roof. There is an underground car park on the four basement floors of the building.

Planned twin tower

As part of the Guangzhou International Finance Center, it was initially planned to build a twin tower in the east across the street. For this reason, the existing high-rise initially as West Tower (German western tower called).

In 2010, however, this project was discarded and the twin tower was replaced by a 530 meter high skyscraper, the Chow Tai Fook Center . This structure, which took on the rank of the tallest building in the city, was completed in 2016.
