Guerle Villa
The Guerle Villa is a listed building in Uetersen .
The villa is a two-storey residential building in the style of historicism with classicist design features on the facades. The building is differentiated in its overall external appearance by means of porches. Inside there are stucco friezes with different decors in almost every room . The villa was built around 1900 on behalf of the cattle traders and brewery owners Knoop and Hauschild from Uetersen. The house was after its completion the largest building of the former borough Uetersen. The tobacco manufacturer Adolf Guerle (1860–1915) later became the owner and namesake of the building. His family lived in the building until the early 1980s. Today the house is occupied by several tenants.
The building is under monument protection as a cultural monument because of its high architectural and urban development value and the various decorations inside .
