Guggenalm

The Guggenalm is an alpine pasture in the municipality of Kiefersfelden .

The alpine hut and the hunting lodge on the Guggenalm are under monument protection and are registered in the Bavarian monument list under the numbers D-1-87-148-70 and D-1-87-148-71 .

Building description

The alpine hut of the Guggenalm is a shingled wooden structure on a high stone base with a shingle-covered gable roof . The building was erected in 1780.

The hunting lodge on the Guggenalm is a one-story log building with a flat gable roof. The ridge purlin is marked with the year 1823, but the core of the building is older.

The Guggenalm is bumped and served.

location

The Guggenalm is located in the Mangfall Mountains east of the Trainsjoch at an altitude of 1230  m above sea level. NN below the Guggeneck.

To the north is the Oberaudorfer Alm .
