life and work
Guglielmo Renzi graduated from the University of Florence in 1980 and was Adolfo Natalini's assistant there from 1981 .
“Guglielmo Renzi is one of those who rather platonize, exalt the object and dissolve it into sublimity. His objects abound and spit nobly, do not tolerate contradiction, are actually already in the production stage or even as a drawing, museum pieces that do not need to be used or would like to do without. It is almost no longer important whether a lamp also shines or a sofa opens up for the user behind. Function takes a back seat to appearance, and this appearance negates the presentation of function. "
