Adolfo Natalini (born May 10, 1941 in Pistoia ; † January 23, 2020 in Florence ) was an Italian architect , designer and urban planner.

After graduating from Florence University in 1966, Natalini founded the architecture office Superstudio , together with Cristiano Toraldo di Francia and later Gian Piero Frassinelli, Alessandro and Roberto Magris and Alessandro Poli. With their designs they became the "epicenter of the Italian architectural avant-garde". The works, projects, drawings, films and furniture were exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City , the Israel Museum Jerusalem , the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt am Main and the Center Pompidou in Paris . From the late 1970s, Natalini worked increasingly on urban development projects and realized projects such as the Edificio per uffici in Alzate Brianza in the province of Como (1978) and the Teatro della Compagnia in Florence (1987). In 1991 he founded the Natalini Architetti office together with Fabrizio Natalini . He also became a professor of architecture at the University of Florence. One of his last projects was the new Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence (2009).

He was a member of the Association of German Architects (honorary member), the American Institute of Architects (honorary member), Accademia delle Arti del Disegno , Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara and the Accademia di San Luca .
