Alzate Brianza is located in the Brianza , 37 km north of Milan and about 10 km southeast of Como . The districts (Frazioni) Fabbrica Durini , Mirovano and Verzago belong to the municipality . Neighboring municipalities are Anzano del Parco , Brenna , Cantù , Inverigo , Lurago d'Erba and Orsenigo .
