Rovello Porro is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6231 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 18 kilometers south-southwest of Como and about 23 kilometers north-northwest of Milan on the Lura and borders the provinces of Monza and Brianza and Varese . The neighboring municipalities are: Cogliate (MB), Gerenzano (VA), Lomazzo , Misinto (MB), Rovellasca , Saronno (VA) and Turate .

The Rovello Porro train station is on the Saronno – Como railway line . To the west of the municipality, the A9 autostrada runs from Lainate to Como and on to the Swiss border in a north-south direction .
