Guanzate is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5841 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 10.5 kilometers southwest of Como on the Parco del Lura . The northern municipal boundary is the Lura . Neighboring municipalities are: Appiano Gentile, Bulgarograsso, Cadorago, Cassina Rizzardi, Cirimido, Fenegrò, Fino Mornasco, Lomazzo, Veniano.
