Cremia is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 674 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 34 kilometers north-northeast of Como on Lake Como and borders directly on the province of Lecco .

At the foot of the Monte Bregagno mountain (2107 m above sea level), the place was built in 1172 as a control post on the lake. The neighboring municipalities are: San Siro , Plesio , Pianello del Lario , Garzeno and Dervio .
