Canzo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5188 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 14.5 kilometers east-northeast of Como on the Lambro and the Ravella and borders directly on the province of Lecco . Canzo is part of the Brianza and the Comunità Montana del Triangolo Lariano .
traffic
The community is on the Milan – Asso railway line . The terminus is still in the municipality and is therefore called Canzo-Asso (sometimes also called Canzo Nord ). The train station in Canzo itself is sometimes referred to as Canzo Sud .
