Garzeno is an Italian commune with 708 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in the Lombardy region .

geography

Garzeno is located above Lake Como on Strada provinciale 5 in the Albano Valley, at the foot of Monte Cortafon ( 1688  m slm ). The municipality covers the districts: Catasco , Piazze , Mòllen , Brenzeglio , Domagnolo , Quansc, Carcinedo and Ponte. The neighboring municipalities are: Cremia , Cusino , Dongo , Gravedona ed Uniti , Grandola ed Uniti , Pianello del Lario , Plesio , San Bartolomeo Val Cavargna and San Nazzaro Val Cavargna .
