Locate Varesino is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4337 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 18 kilometers southwest of Como on Gradaluso , about 15.5 kilometers southeast of Varese and about 31 kilometers northwest of Milan . Locate Varesino borders directly on the province of Varese . Neighboring municipalities are: Cairate (VA), Carbonate, Fagnano Olona (VA), Gorla Maggiore (VA), Tradate (VA).

traffic

The municipality's train station, which also bears the name of the neighboring municipality Carbonate , is on the Saronno – Laveno railway line . The former state road 233 (now a provincial road) runs through the municipality from Milan to the Swiss border.
