Rovellasca is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7945 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy .
geography
The municipality is located about 16 kilometers south-southwest of Como on the Lura and includes the Manera fraction . Rovellasca borders directly on the province of Monza and Brianza . The neighboring municipalities are: Bregnano , Lazzate (MB), Lomazzo , Misinto (MB) and Rovello Porro .
history
The town of Rovellasco was first mentioned in a document in 1286, although settlement finds indicate that it has existed since the second century BC.
