Luisago is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2489 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Como in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 13 kilometers east-southeast of Como and borders directly on the province of Lecco . The includes the following fractions: Cadea , Cascina Giulia , Galletto , Momberto , Piazza , Resegone . Neighboring communities are: Costa Masnaga (LC), Inverigo, Lurago d'Erba, Merone, Nibionno (LC)
