The municipality is located about 13 kilometers east-southeast of Como and includes the fractions: Calpuno , Careggia , Colciago , Piazza . Neighboring municipalities are: Alzate Brianza, Anzano del Parco, Inverigo, Lambrugo, Merone, Monguzzo.
