San Bartolomeo Val Cavargna is a northern Italian municipality with 991 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Como in the Lombardy region .
geography
San Bartolomeo Val Cavargna is located in Val Cavargna between San Nazzaro Val Cavargna and Cusino near the Swiss border.
It covers an area of 10.51 km² and includes six districts between 700 and 900 m above sea level. M .: Sora , in the valley floor on the Cuccio ; Vora , a little higher, with the parish church; Calbino , capital of the municipality; Tavaino , with oratorio San Rocco (16th century); Costa in the east is 925 m above sea level. M .; Oggia in the north 1118 m above sea level M, built in 1949, with the Church of Santa Maria Ausiliatrice. The neighboring municipalities are Carlazzo , Cusino , Garzeno and San Nazzaro Val Cavargna .

Attractions
- San Bartolomeo Church, a large building with a neo-Gothic transept. A wide staircase leads to the facade, which takes up that of the demolished building. Inside there is a beautiful baroque altar made of polychrome marble and two frescoes depicting the Madonna Enthroned with the Baptist and Saint Roch from the 15th century and Saint Anthony of Padua from the 17th century coming out of the houses comes from Vora and Sora. Two paintings depict the Holy Family with Saints Karl Borromeo from 1633 and Saints Antonio Abate, Stefano e Giacomo from 1652. The Como painter Eugenio Rossi enriched the church with stained glass windows in the apse with facts from the Old Testament and on 1963–1964 the facade, the kingship of the Virgin .
