Guglielmo della Scala
Guglielmo della Scala († April 1404 ) was an illegitimate son of Cangrande II. Della Scala from the Scaliger family , who ruled Verona from 1260 to 1387 .
He was involved in the murder of his father in 1359, but lost power to his uncle Cansignorio . In 1404 he and his sons Brunoro and Antonio II tried to conquer power in Verona against the Milanese . He was proclaimed Podestà of Verona on April 17, but died - already seriously ill - a few days later on April 18 or April 21 or 28, 1404.
Six sons came from the marriage with a stranger; in addition to the two already mentioned: Bartolomeo († March 21, 1453), Fregnano († December 4, 1443 in Vienna ), Nicodemus and Paulo. He also had daughters Oria, Chiara and Caterina.
