Guido Kosmehl

Guido Kosmehl (born June 27, 1975 in Leipzig ) is a German politician ( FDP ) in the state of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1994, Guido Kosmehl began studying law at the University of Leipzig in 1995 . In 1999 he passed his first state examination. From 1999 to 2001 a legal traineeship followed with the completion of the 2nd state examination. Guido Kosmehl has been a research assistant at the Law Faculty of the University of Leipzig since 2002.

Political party

Guido Kosmehl joined the FDP in 1993. He is chairman of the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district association of the FDP, chairman of the "Liberal Jurists" in Saxony-Anhalt, member of the FDP state board and deputy chairman of the state committee for interior and law. In 2006 he was appointed chairman of the policy committee of the FDP regional association, which in 2008 presented a new policy program under the title "Zukunftsland Sachsen-Anhalt".

Public offices

Guido Kosmehl was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 2002 to March 2011 and deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group until 2006. In September 2004, Guido Kosmehl was appointed deputy member of the Committee of the Regions (CoR) of the European Union by the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt. Guido Kosmehl was spokesman for domestic politics, federal and European affairs for the FDP parliamentary group and, as a member of parliament, was responsible for Anhalt-Bitterfeld, Burgenland and Dessau-Roßlau.

Guido Kosmehl was a member of the district council of the Bitterfeld district from 2004 to 2007.
