Guido Ringel

Guido Ringel (born December 10, 1968 in Berlin ) is a German sports reporter .

Ringel has been working in public broadcasting since 1993. He completed his studies in journalism and history at the Free University of Berlin in 1996 with a Magister Artium .

He regularly reports in the ARD Bundesliga conference and on international matches for the German national team as well as major events such as B. the Olympic Games and the World Cup . He also works as a voice actor and presenter of sporting events.

In 2009 he came third in the Herbert Zimmermann Prize for Radio, which the Association of German Sports Journalists awards. The prize was awarded to him for the Olympic report broadcast on ARD, Gold in the men's two-man category. At the 2008 Summer Olympics , he also reported on tennis competitions.

He lives and works mainly in Berlin.
