Guilhufe is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Guilhufe belongs to the district Penafiel in the district of Porto . The community had an area of ​​5 km² and 2843 inhabitants (June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Guilhufe and Urrô were merged to form the new municipality of Guilhufe e Urrô . Guilhufe is the seat of this newly formed community.
