Guillaume Nicloux (born August 3, 1966 in France ) is a French film director , screenwriter and writer .

Life

Guillaume Nicloux initially worked in the theater. After the short film L'orage , he made his first feature film in 1988 with La piste aux étoiles . His Diderot adaptation Die Nun with Pauline Étienne and Isabelle Huppert in the leading roles received an invitation to the competition at the 63rd Berlinale in 2013 .

Nicloux taught at the renowned Parisian film school La fémis for ten years . He also works as a writer and has published several novels in France.
