Guillermo Cosío

Guillermo Cosío Sánchez (born September 15, 1958 in Mexico City ), also known by the nickname Caballo , is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield , and later a soccer coach .

career

Cosío began his professional career in the 1976/77 season with CD Zacatepec and spent the following two seasons with the clubs CD Cruz Azul (1977/78) and CF Atlante (1978/79), which are based in the capital , before joining the neighboring town of Nezahualcóyotl home of CD Coyotes Neza had his first long-term station. He then moved to Puebla FC , where he experienced the most successful period of his sporting career. In the years 1988 and 1990 won Cosío with Camoteros the Mexican Cup competition and beyond 1990 and the football championship .

After he ended his active career in 1991, Cosío began working as a coach. After several years in the coaching staff of his last club, Puebla FC, he was head coach for various teams in the Segunda and Tercera División between 2007 and 2012 .
