Gulnas Eduardowna Badykowa ( Russian Гульназ Эдуардовна Бадыкова , English Gulnaz Badykova ; born April 21, 1994 ) is a Russian cyclist who primarily competes in races on the track .

Athletic career

Gulnas Badykowa has been an international cyclist since 2011. Her first successes were in the team pursuit . She was twice the U23 European Champion in this discipline: in 2013 together with Alexandra Tschekina , Swetlana Kaschirina and Marija Mischina and in 2014 with Tschekina and Tamara Balabolina . Also in 2013 she won the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the European Championships with Chekina, Yevgenia Romanjuta and Mariha Mishina .

At the U23 European Championships in 2015 Badykowa won her first international individual medal when she became European champion in the points race . In the same year she also started at the elite European championships in team pursuit and won bronze with Yevgenia Romanjuta, Tamara Balabolina and Alexandra Goncharova . In 2017 she was runner-up in the European points race in Berlin , and the following year (with Diana Klimowa ) in the two-man team race ; she finished third in the points race. At the Russian track championships this year she won three titles.
