Diana Andrejewna Klimowa , also Diana Klimova , ( Russian Диана Андреевна Климова ; born October 8, 1996 in Tyumen ) is a Russian cyclist who competes in races on the road and track .

Athletic career

Diana Klimowa began her cycling career primarily on the track. In 2014 she won a silver and a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships . After a long break from competition, she entered the U23 European Championships and finished second with Maria Petuchowa in the two-man team . The following year she won silver with Gulnas Badykowa at the European Championships in two-man team driving and was two- time U23 European champion in points and two-man team driving . With Marija Novolodskaja she won bronze in the two-man team driving at the European Games 2019 in Minsk .

In 2020 Klimowa received a contract with the Cogeas-Mettler team . In February she won the Alanya Grand Prix , and after the COVID-19 break from competition, she became the Russian road champion in August.
