Svetlana Anatolyevna Samokhvalova

Svetlana Anatoljewna Samochwalowa ( Russian Светлана Анатольевна Самохвалова , born December 20, 1972 in Moscow ) is a former Russian cyclist and two-time world champion.

In 1989 Svetlana Samochwalowa was two-time junior world champion in the single pursuit and in the points race in Moscow . In 1995 and 1996 she became world champion in points racing. In total, she won six medals at world rail championships.

Samokhvalova was also successful on the road: In 1998 she became Russian road racing champion and in 1994 she won the Chrono Champenois individual time trial .

Twice - 1992 and 1996 - Svetlana Samochwalowa started at the Olympic Games. In 1992, in Barcelona , she was sixth in the pursuit, in 1996, in Atlanta , fourth in the points race.
