Sally Hodge

Sally Hodge (born May 31, 1966 in Cardiff , Wales ) is a former British cyclist with successes on track and road . She became a world champion and is considered a Welsh sports idol.

In 1987 and 1988 Sally Hodge came second in the Great Britain Road Championships. Twice, in 1988 in Seoul and 1992 in Barcelona , Sally Hodge also took part in the Olympic Games, each in the single pursuit on the track, but without medal success. In 1988 she won the points race at the UCI Track World Championships in Ghent , which was held for the first time. In 1994 she won the bronze medal in the points race at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada .

Sally Hodge is a member of the Cardiff Ajax Cycling Club and thus a club mate of world and Olympic champion Nicole Cooke .
