Anastassija Alexandrowna Tschulkowa , ( Russian Анастасия Александровна Чулкова ; English transcription: Anastasiya Chulkova ; born March 7, 1985 in Moscow ) is a Russian cyclist .

Athletic career

At the UCI Track World Championships in Manchester in 2008 , Anastassija Chulkova finished fifth in the team pursuit , along with Yevgenia Romanjuta and Jelena Tschalych . In 2010 she won the scratch at the track cycling world cup in Cali . In 2011 she was the Russian runner-up in the Omnium and in the team pursuit. At the UCI Track World Championships in Melbourne in 2012 , she was world champion in points .

Chulkova then shifted her focus to the street; in 2013 and 2015 she achieved three stages.

In August 2017, it was announced that Anastasija Chulkova had tested positive for meldonium . The Russian association stated that this substance has only been banned since September 1, 2016, so it is a residue. It is not known when the sample was taken.
