Natalia Valeryevna Karimova
Natalja Valerjewna Karimowa , ( Russian: Наталья Валерьевна Каримова ; English transcription: Nataliya Karimova ; born February 28, 1974 in Rostow-na-Donu ) is a former Russian track cyclist .
At the UCI Track World Championships in 1997 in Perth , Natalia Karimova won two medals: a gold one in the points run and a silver one in the single pursuit . In 1998, in races of the Track Cycling World Cup , she was first in the points race in Hyères and second in the pursuit in Berlin . The following year she took two third places in the pursuit at World Cup races. Twice - in 1996 and 2000 - she started at the Olympic Games ; She was tenth in 1996 and ninth in 2000.
