Gunhild Wilms

Gunhild Wilms (née Scheuthle; born September 21, 1940 in Stuttgart ) is a German historian.

Life

Gunhild Scheuthle was born as the daughter of the director of studies Gerhard Scheuthle, graduated from the commercial college in Stuttgart in 1959, studied at the universities of Tübingen and Munich from 1959 and received her doctorate from the University of Tübingen with a thesis on the national feeling and image of Germany of Freiherr von Stein . From 1965 to 1990 she was married to the historian Eberhard Wilms , who worked for Questions on History . In addition to essays related to regional history, she and her husband published a number of historical didactic books. Her son Jörn Wilms is a professor of astrophysics.
