Gunnar Andersson (science theorist)

Gunnar Andersson (* 1942 in Kärda , municipality of Värnamo ) is a Swedish philosopher and scientific theorist.

After receiving his doctorate in 1975 at the University of Gothenburg , he was a university assistant for philosophy at the University of Bochum and the University of Trier . Since 2000 he has been Professor of Philosophy and Philosophy of Science at Umeå University , Sweden, meanwhile retired. He became known as an author through epistemological writings, especially in the examination of the criticism of critical rationalism by Thomas S. Kuhn , Imre Lakatos and Paul Feyerabend .
