Gunter Lochbaum

Gunter Horst Lochbaum (born February 2, 1944 in Plauen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 2004 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Lochbaum graduated from high school in Plauen in 1962 and then trained as a boring mill worker in machine tool construction . This was followed by a degree in measurement and control engineering at the TH Ilmenau , which he graduated with a diploma in 1969. He then worked as a research assistant in device development. Most recently, he was head of organization and data processing. In 1969 he joined the SPD. He was in various local party functions. In the state elections in 1990 he entered the state parliament, to which he belonged for a total of three terms until 2004.
