Gunther Reeg (born July 5, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player .

In the 1984/85 season Reeg played in the 2nd Bundesliga for SV Darmstadt 98 . On the last two game days of the season he was substituted in in the second half, and on the 38th matchday he even scored a goal in the away game against MSV Duisburg . It remained his only two appearances in professional football. Since he was 6,177 days younger than the youngest player in the 1st Bundesliga, Nuri Şahin on his debut day, at 6,177 days on the day of his debut, Reeg is still both the youngest player used and the youngest scorer in the two German Bundesliga so far the only player who was able to score a goal in German professional football before his 17th birthday, the only player ever used in both national leagues who played all his appearances before his 17th birthday, and next to Şahin the only 16-year-old who has ever played was used in the German professional leagues. His entire playing time in the 2nd Bundesliga was only about 70 minutes.
