Gus Puopolo
Gus Puopolo (actually Agostino Puopolo; born August 18, 1948 ) is a former Australian hammer thrower .
In 1978 he was eighth at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton , in 1981 ninth at the World Athletics Cup in Rome and in 1982 eighth at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane .
From 1974 to 1979 he was Australian champion six times in a row. He set his personal best of 65.16 m on March 6, 1982 in Melbourne .
