Gustav Molanus

Gustav Molanus (born March 28, 1650 , † 1710 in Harburg ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the General Diocese of Harburg .

Life

After studying theology, Molanus first went to Hungary as a field provost . In 1686 he became superintendent in Burgdorf , in 1694 pastor and superintendent at the Trinity Church in Harburg . After the general diocese of Harburg separated from the Lüneburg-Celle , in 1708 he became the first general superintendent of the newly founded district.
