Gustavo Farrera
Gustavo Farrera (born July 24, 1954 in Charallave ) is a Venezuelan singer.
Farrera began his musical career at the age of eight in Trino Muñoz 's children's program on TVN 5 . He later became a member of Ángel Briceños Sonora Miranda . A few years later he appeared as a singer alongside Pedro Urbina and Ely Méndez with the group Cainama .
After further experience with the Los Armónicos of Pepe Molina and Manolo Monterrey , Ali Ramos and his orchestra and other groups, he became a member of Billo Frómetas Caracas Boys in 1975 with Ely Méndez and Cheo García and a little later Oswaldo Delgado , to which he belonged until 1980.
In 1980 he became the solo singer of Los Melódicos , where he appeared with musicians such as Manolo Monterrey, Perucho Navarro , Molly Dick and Chico Salas and became known with Ricardo Portillo's song Amparito . He then became a singer with Orqusta La Tremada and finally founded the Gran Orquesta de Cheo y Memo with José Luis Marea , Cheo García , Memo Morales and Gilberto Riera , which is directed by Ricardo Hernández .
