Gut Düneburg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gut Düneburg is an estate near the town of Haren (Ems) , today one in the grounds golf course located.

The estate was built in 1729 in the Wesuwer Mark area as a country estate for Johann Bernhard Lipper (1700–1788), who was appointed Chief War Commissioner and Rentmeister of the Meppen Office in the same year. Lipper was married to Maria Hermine Pictorius (1706–1785), a daughter of the builder Gottfried Laurenz Pictorius . The architects Wilhelm Ferdinand Lipper and Clemens Lipper came from this marriage .

However, the estate was passed on through her sister Maria Auguste Lipper, who was married to Franz Maerle, to her daughter Maria Franziska Maerle, who married Albert Joseph Reinking , the rent master of the Rheine-Bevergern district . The architect August Reinking came from this marriage . The estate was inherited within the Reinking family up to Albert Reinking (1887–1966), who was married to Ida Kerckhoff (1894–1980), a sister of Hermann Kerckhoff . Their son Friedrich Reinking (1930–2019) was the owner of the estate for many years.

Since 1768 the estate had noble liberties and was exempt from taxes and burdens, but was not eligible for state assembly. In 1828 it came into possession of hunting rights. In addition, Gut Düneburg was trademarked in the Altharener Mark and owned heather, pasture and peat cutting rights. In the meantime, the estate was more than 550 hectares in size.

Today there is an 18-hole golf course on the grounds of Gut Düneburg .
