The Good Niederhofen is a former knight's seat in Dortmund district Wellinghofen

The builders were the lords of Niederhofen. The estate was first mentioned in 1242.

From Gut Niederhofen only the gatehouse with a baroque hood and two wing structures from 1748 are preserved. Today, behind the historical building fabric, there is a child and youth welfare facility with children and youth groups.

Gut Niederhofen is the starting point for the A1 and A2 hiking trails of the Sauerland Mountain Association through the Niederhofer Forest . It is entered as an architectural monument in the list of monuments of the city of Dortmund .
