Gutenbergstrasse (Weißenfels)

Monument area
The monument area on Gutenbergstrasse includes house numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17. The residential buildings represent an extraordinarily significant Art Nouveau ensemble for Weißenfels. The four-storey houses are characterized by numerous sculptural and design details, such as bay windows, Gable, stucco, lattice etc., embossed. House No. 3 has remarkable Art Nouveau glazing on the ground floor and staircase.

The villa at number 4 does not belong to the monument area, but is a separate monument.
Memorial stone
At the intersection of Gutenbergstrasse and Merseburger Strasse there is a memorial stone for Fritz Schellbach, who was murdered on October 7, 1944 .
