The Badow manor , also referred to as the castle in the village , is located in the Badow district of the community of Schildenal , district of Northwest Mecklenburg .

The estate was first mentioned in a document in 1230.

In 1906, after a severe fire, the manor house was converted from a classical to a neo-baroque house by the architect Paul Korff .
