The Scharpenhufe manor house is the former manor house of the Scharpenhufe manor in Scharpenhufe in the Altmark .

history

The Scharpenhufe estate in Scharpenhufe near Pollitz has been traceable since the 15th century. It was owned by the von Jagow family for years . The manor was eligible for state assembly , d. H. the respective owner was a member of the Altmark estates or, from 1824, of the Altmark Municipal Parliament .

In the course of the land reform in the Soviet occupation zone , the owner was expropriated in 1946. After the reunification , the previous owners bought the property back. The manor house is a listed building and is used for tourism.
