Gwardia Ludowa

The Gwardia Ludowa ( German People's Guard , GL ) was a communist underground organization in Poland during World War II . She was supported by the Soviet Union in the fight against the German occupiers in order to establish a communist order in Poland after the victory . The GL was created on January 6, 1942. Among other things, it took part in the fighting of the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto .
