Gwendolyn Knight
Gwendolyn Knight (born April 20, 1914 in Barbados , † February 18, 2005 in Seattle , Washington ) was an African-American sculptor . She has received many awards, including the National Honor Award and two honorary doctorates. Gwendolyn Knight was married to the famous painter Jacob Lawrence .
