Gwiazda Bydgoszcz is a sports club from the Polish city of Bydgoszcz . The club's colors are blue and white. The most successful is the table tennis department of the club, which plays in the LOTTO Super League.
history
The club was founded on April 25, 1920, making it the oldest sports club in Bydgoszcz. In the 1950s the club played under the names Spójnia, Ogniwo and Sparta Bydgoszcz.
Table tennis department
The department was founded in 1926. The team won the 2014 Academic Championship in Poland. In 2015 she became the Polish Cup winner, in 2014 and 2016 she reached 3rd place in the Polish Cup.
Football department
Gwiazda Bydgoszcz's footballers play in the Polish eighth division. In the years 2007-2010 the club played in the fourth division.
